Giving Back
Thank you Delta Rotary for awarding South Shore Cycle with the Ethical Business Award for 2011.

Team Coastal Cycling Club
South Shore is the home of the 200-member
Team Coastal Cycling Club. The $100 membership fee includes an associate membership with Cycling BC and insurance.
Joining the club is a great way to improve your skills and meet other cycling enthusiasts. The club offers a
variety of rides to meet all skill levels including a Sunday family ride that runs in the spring and
summer.
Ride2Survive
Ride2Survive is one of the largest independent fundraisers in Canada. One hundred percent of the funds raised
through the grueling one-day ride from Kelowna to South Shore Cycle in North Delta goes to the Canadian
Cancer Society. Since 2005, the ride has raised millions of dollars for cancer research. About 100 riders
take up the challenge each year. Registration for 2012 is open now. Training kicks off in
February.
Cops for Cancer Tour de Valley
South Shore has supported the
Cops for CancerTour de Valley event for four years. This fundraiser for pediatric cancer takes place over nine days every
September. Cyclists ride over 800 km to raise money for the Canadian Cancer society. The shop provides bike
maintenance, sizing and fitting.
